Members of the RC Ntinda kicked off their 'plant your balance' initiative by planting 300 trees in Kyegegwa District. The club plans to plant more than 6,900 trees in the next three years. The trees were planted at the Mukako Sub Parish Catholic church and Kako Primary School in Kyegegwa District. In addition to the trees, all the P7 pupils of Mukako Primary School were gifted with mathematical sets in preparation for the primary leaving examinations. The "Plant Your Balance" campaign is an initiative of Rotary Districts 9212, 9213, and 9214 and is one of the activities to commemorate 100 years of Rotary in Africa. The fruit trees will help protect the environment, provide food to the community, and promote ecological balance.
